Lepitsunes are a race of small fox-like critters with moth wings who harness the power of stars to grant the wishes of others.
Though born on a distant star, they are brought to various planets including our own when young. From there they must grant wishes in order to mature into their adult forms, and in the process come to learn about emotions and what it means to be alive.
